UCSUR has also been tracking social media sentiment on open data in Pittsburgh. Using software developed by Crimson Hexagon, a Boston based analytics company, UCSUR can study social media content on a variety of topics. Crimson Hexagon provides tools for aggregating and summarizing social media comment on various platforms including blogs, forums, online comments and twitter, among others.
