Survey Research Program
The University of Pittsburgh Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR) currently has temporary, part-time openings within their Survey Research Program. The selected candidate will be conducting academic surveys via telephone regarding various studies conducted by UCSUR (no sales or fundraising involved). The goal of these research studies is to obtain information that will inform and influence existing treatments and policies. This position is strictly temporary, part-time and the number of hours worked may range from 15-30 hours per week. Weekend and evening hours required. Compensation for this position is $10.00/hourly. Please note that this is an onsite position located in Oakland.

Qualitative Data Analysis Program
We hire for the temporary, part-time Transcriber and Coder positions on an intermittent basis.
These positions entail using software to transcribe and/or code qualitative data such as semi-structured interviews, focus groups, field notes and lectures, 8-20 hours per week. Candidates must be fluent in English, possess excellent analytical skills, an extensive vocabulary, and the ability to type very fast. Must be detail-oriented and must be comfortable working independently as well as in a team. The shifts are flexible during weekdays between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm, and the pay rate is $12.00/hour.
